ABOUT ME

I was birthed in the wilds of the Florida Everglades from the womb of an alligator. At age 2 I was still too small to ward off pelicans but I survived. I learned the harshness of winter at the age of 4 when moving to Ohio.

Ohio has been my base for many years. It has led to East Coast photography journeys, West Coast beaches, Scottish surf shores and film festivals, German Love Parades, French coast lines, New England clam bakes, London life, Swiss Alps, and more. I have plied the trades of life saving, film making, brewing, carpentry, catering, transporting, and dancing to name a few.

I have now shifted my foundation to Austin, Texas to see what can happen here.

PHILOSOPHY

Live because you want to, not because you have to. And when I'm old and have grandchildren I want to have the best stories to inspire them to experience everything they can while here.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've still been rather neutral on the site but now that I have a more travel worthy home and location I feel I can host a bit more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can sleep on anything, which is great. I called a friend once and asked to sleep on his couch the next day after not seeing him for 2 years. It was a spur of the moment decision and it turned out being a blast.

I experienced the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, all of August, after deciding I didn't want to go home after a 2 week study abroad trip.
