Also am a fan of Jack White, Beirut, Florence and the Machines, The Kills, Interpol, Arctic Monkeys, the Black Keys, Two Gallants and others...
I generally like European movies ...because they are not that fast. I like movies with a strong story and am not impressed by a great cast if the script is BS... My favorite movies are the banishment (in Russian Izgnanie)and arsenic and old lace.
I love books and my favorite authors are Stephen Leacock, Haruki Murakami, Mario Vargas Llosa, Milan Kundera, J.L. Borges, Jose Saramago, Franz Kafka, J.P. Sartre and Camus.
