HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling has always been my goal in life, I dare to say, and this community, which helps people do it is amazing. I think meeting people is a great way to learn more about different cultures and yourself!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, my CS experiences has been just as a host, but it has been amazing!!!

兴趣

I love teaching, and learning, and I don't believe one can be done without the other... I'm a geographer, and have taught English to support myself for many years... This means I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people, worked with children of all ages, and travelled quite a little bit (I don't know why, but funny thing... when it comes to traveling I don't think I'll ever say "I've had enough!!").

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Uffff! Hard decision... I lived through one very strong earthquake that nearly destroyed Mexico City when I was young, and I remember how people got together to help out others... That marked my life, and I have seen such great gestures of solidarity again in many other hard situations... Contrasting that with the newspapers is always a motivation! I have been lucky enough to go to many amazing places, la Alhambra, Sevilla, Teotihuacan, New York, Angkor Wat, the rainforest, the mountains... Can't include all incredible places I've seen, but I am always and forever thankful to my parents, who have showed by example how much you can learn and grow by traveling (besides making my trips financially possible most of the times!!)
