ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Flavia, Flav,Flavi, Flavinha, Fi (You pick). I am Portuguese but I live in London. I travel quite a lot, mainly in Europe, and I try to do it to places where I have friends so I can 'live like the locals' and have the real experience of a town/city (I don't really like very turistic places). I have so many interests, I love teaching my friends how to knit, crochet, make them clothes, bake, cook for lots of people-where 1 eats 10 can eat (I think this comes from having a brazilian mother).. And many other things. Ah, maybe it's important to say I speak portuguese and spanish also.

I love books, I buy books all the time and I love the idea of reading them, but I am the most distracted reader so it takes me ages- my mind wanders
I watch mainly indie european cinema- have you ever been to the BFI in London. OH my God its awesome
Music- all folky, country, mellow, zen. If it's live I like anything (except metal)

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh I love this.. I'd love to learn lots of stuff. This year I did a Mola applique from Panama workshop, a pattern cutting course.. I know how to knit and all crafty things.. I love teaching them to other people. What I don't know I youtube it until I'm a pro (except music instruments let's not even go to that story)
