I’m an Italian architect and within the last seven years I have been doing many experience abroad. My studies began in the south of Italy, in Reggio-Calabria but soon I moved away when I attended a Master in Architecture and Urban planning in Turin.
From there on I applied for one-year programm as guest-student in Istanbul. Afterwards I moved back to Italy but one month later I was suddenly offered to join a Master-Thesis program for one year in Berlin.
However, after my studies I decided to begin working in Germany and since two year I'm employed in an Architecture firm established in Hamburg.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’m relative new on Couchsurfing.
Well I'm not the person travelling often for short periods, so maybe that’s the reason why I never needed to be hosted in other cities and never thought to host somebody.
Though this year I will travel for three months in the US among Philadelphia, New York and Detroit.
This trip won't be just for pleasure but will serve as field exploration for a future research on Urban studies and Anthropology.
For this reason, I would like to get to know what's the social essence of those cities before exploring the physical environment of it.
Therefore, connecting people from different countries and helping them to share their knowledge, I believe Couchsurfing might give a big contribution to this research.
