Overview
About Me
Curious cat, willing to try new things, understand how stuff works and discover everyday. My hometown is close-by Paris and I really like this capital – exploring it by finding cool and original places on a daily basis is very enjoyable, but lately I enjoy moving around the world – call me nomad or unsettled haha
I'm a Freelance Art Director (mostly digital) and studied arts and graphic design during 6y in the Paris area. I just love the freedom of working for various clients without being locked in a company. It also gives so much more diversity, possibilities and excitement.
🎶 Eternal music junkie since childhood (also part-time vinyl hunter)
📷 Sometimes shooting pics (when I don't forget my camera), a hobby making me curious and creative on a daily basis
👀 Fascinated by places with a character, unique atmosphere or timeless ambiance, something fascinating
🚲 Serious cyclist, not using much the subway and rather bike anywhere I can. It's quicker, probably not safer but definitely more fun! Best option to discover a city (excepted LA)
"Play loud"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people and especially locals in a city you don't know is the best thing that you could do when traveling, so CS is definitely an awesome opportunity for that
Music, Movies, and Books
Music, such a big thing. Pretty much every genre as long as it's enjoyable. Soul, funk, R&B, rock, indie, punk, blues, jazz, reggae, dub, hip hop, trip hop, rap, electronic, house, afrobeat, brazilian music or more obscure stuff.
I'm a big fan of compilations about old labels and lost sounds, like pure soul from the 70s, heavy funky sounds, crazy afro rhythms or 60s psyche-rock. I also listen to a lot of Mixcloud mixtapes and mixes, it's an awesome way to discover new bands, fresh and also forgotten stuff.

I'm not cine-maniac but I guess I watched some movies by the time… I enjoy directors like Albert Dupontel, Jacques Tati, the duo Bacri/Jaoui, Michel Gondry, Tarantino, Scorcese, Miyazaki, J-P. Jeunet, Cédric Klapisch, Tim Burton, Kubrick, Jim Carrey, etc, and movies like 99F, OSS 117 (really tasty french humor), Le Grand Détournement (best movie ever), Buena Vista Social Club, Monty Python, some box office movies and some more french cinema!

I don't read often tbh (some stuff about graphic design and art, sometimes some SciFi) but I just love what a book is and what it can learn (also kind of a book/paper/any printed stuff fetish haha)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Cliffs of Moher, Ireland. who-ah effect. A seascape that you don't want to leave because beautiful is not a sufficient word… A trip in Norway was a great way to redefine that who-ah effect (Preikestolen rock for example, but not only). Next step is Iceland or Faroe Island I guess?
Strangest one: "Zee", an art installation where you are just in front of a giant wall of stroboscopic lights during 10mn, with minimal and deep bass sounds, totally submerged in an artificial fog where you can't see your hand when you stretch your arm and you can't breath it without coughing. No word, needs to be experienced.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can try to teach you some basics of photography and design (or development – challenging but why not!), share some quality music, or deliver you some french culture!
