Traveling is my passion. I love exploring new places, meet new people and try new food. In my opinion the best way to explore the world is by hanging around with locals. Only they can show you the best places!

Besides traveling I like to make short videos. My main interest is about human interest documentaries. And studying journalism is hopefully the first step to become a documentary maker.

Back at home I also do sports. I love sailing, cycling and skiing. Because we don't have any mountains in the Netherlands in the winters I go to Switzerland to ski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things that i have done so far is backpacking in the Balkan. Me and a friend started off in Budapest and went to Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Greece.

Especially Albania i liked. We met the most amazing people along the way, slept in unfinished shopping centers, wild camped in a canyon, joined a local BBQ and hitch hiked all the way through Albania. There was no moment that we felt scared. Even though the country is corrupt and the people are poor. The way we were treated in Albania made all the fears disappear.
