Hi there! This is Fleur, nice to find you here …

So in short, my life story: I was born and raised on a farm in the Netherlands, with the full tulips, clogs, and windmills package included. Then I figured out there was more to see of the world, went travelling, and here we are five years later. It’s time to explore a bit of the homeland now, before heading off to who knows where.

I usually travel without much of a plan, so I’m never exactly sure where I’ll end up, but that’s part of the adventure! I love spending my time outdoors and I probably have way too many hobbies I still want to learn. I enjoy hearing people’s stories, and I’m always happy to share mine too.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Because I love travelling alone, but sometimes it’s really nice to have some company too, right? And being welcomed into someone’s home is pretty special, as you get to see how people actually live where they are. And I met some interesting people that have given me quite some inspiration :)

Music ~ I like (soft) rock, soul, jazz, flamenco, Latin and Cuban music. I can play a bit of guitar and ukulele and I’d love to learn the piano.

Books ~ Why We Sleep, The Psychopath Test, Humankind, The Handicap Principle, Sapiens, and a little outside the list but impossible to leave out, Harry Potter.

I can teach you many card and board games, how to play chess, some cooking, and of course Dutch culture :)

There’s a long list of things I want to learn. From martial arts to magic tricks, it changes everyday.
