ABOUT ME

Lets start with saying that I have studied Nature Conservation and Religion studies. Loved it both, and not done studying yet so I hope to do a PhD in a Nordic country or get a job as scientific researcher.

As a lot of Dutch persons, I can be quite direct, but I try to be honest. I can be a partygoer who stays up till dawn, but I'm also happy to stroll through nature on my own. Love both the big events in life and the smallest moments.

Not surprisingly, I love to travel, although I haven't seen as much as I like yet. Doing my best to change this...I like to meet people and get to know new cultures. I aspire to be openminded, and love to discuss and philosophize about almost everything actually.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Made some wonderful friends trhough CS, who made me feel right at home in their cities. They showed me places I would never have found on my own. Gained new insights by talking to people from different cultures, and learned to appreciate new things. Tasted wonderful (and most distugsting) traditional and modern dishes.

I enjoying being in nature; Hiking, wondering about life, enjoying the view and picnkicking of course. I play some kind of theatre, nowadays mostly improvisation. I used to love riding on my motorcycle, but unfortunately I had to sell it, so I'm cycle-less now... I read a lot of books, like to visit the cinema and love to go to festivals and concerts. Friends are real important to me, one can never have enough good company around them.

Zatoichi, Boondock saints, Lord of the Rings, Memoirs a Geisha, the Crow, Lock stock..., Interview with a vampire and Howl's moving castle are a few of the movies I like to watch.

For music, a mostly listen to metal and rock but I also enjoy more easy going things like jazzy stuff.

I love to read! Fantasy, detective, history novels, ranging from Weis and Hickman to Umberto Eco.
