CURRENT MISSION

I am travelling by myself with no specific plans once I reach Europe. I hope to learn about local people and culture from the locals as well as exchange experiences with them.

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, (occaisionally shy) energetic person in search of experience and beauty in new places. I plan on taking two trips every year to new and distant places. Right now I'm very motivated to learn through experience.

PHILOSOPHY

If we do not challenge ourselves from time to time and step out of our comfort zones into the unknown, we cannot grow to our full potential or understand ourselves wholly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I arrived at College I had no place to stay and spent a week on a complete strangers' couch until I found an apartment. I was very grateful, and we became friends through the experience. On my first trip to Europe I went to visit a friend studying at St. Andrews University in Scotland. I met his roommate from Bath, England who let me stay at his house for a few days when I left St. Andrews. Without a local host, I wouldn't have known where to go and wouldn't have taken in so much of the culture of the place.

Interests

I am into almost any kind of sport, especially American football, basketball and frisbee. Anything challenging that is not life threatening, writing, photography, learning about others and growing as a person. I cannot leave out dancing and singing, two things that make me feel alive.
