ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say I'm a swell guy. We were always the family in town that held epic barbeques, and the only downside to traveling or living away from home is that you don't get to see your friends as often as you like! But of course, my friends know that I'm always out and about meeting new people and making new friends :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe in fostering the growth of cross-cultural and intra-cultural understanding. There are thousands of ways for a person to do this, but one of the best is to meet new people and get to know about them, while also sharing your life and stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch-surfing experience helped me realize that we all think that others have something (or everything) in their life better than we do, but they often feel the same way about you. I hope that people, through couch-surfing (and via other methods), realize that not only should we learn through the experiences of others, but also that our experiences, shared, are more interesting than we think!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One my drive to Denver, CO. I drove underneath a tornado about an hour into the state. Later that drive, about an hour outside of Denver, I saw the most incredible lightning storm of my life. I guess Denver is known for that.
