I'm a friendly young person living at the Baltic Sea coast in Germany. I grew up here in Rostock and love my hometown as well as travelling to other cities and countries. I'm an English and History student at the University of Rostock and i'm very into motorsports. When I have time (and money) I love to drive Go-Kart long distance races. For me its amazing to keep up your concentration up to 2 hours while youre driving lap by lap. Besides that I'm having a wonderful girlfriend, she's from Russia and currently doing an au-pair job here in Germany, 130km away from Rostock. I'd say our story is kind of special, as we first saw each other on computer screens and 2 months later had our first real-life experiences when i visited her in Russia. Now she is in Germany to get to know this country and I'm trying my best to show her around :) At the moment I'm about to learn Russian besides my usual study so that when i get there again i can communicate without so many problems as I had in the last travels. I have been to Russia 4 times now, i also visited Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic and some other countries.. I really like the idea of traveling and get to know new people and cultures and I want to make this happen more often in the following years. :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I heard of Courchsurfing long before I signed in, but now I thought its time to finally try it. I really like the idea of meeting new people who offer you a place to sleep, its much more personal than just booking a hotel and I really think it can make a travel so much better. I'm looking forward to experiencing this for the first time and I hope it will be as nice as i picture it.

Im a passionate go-kart driver and love to take part in team races in diferrent parts of Germany. But because of the monetary problem of this kind of sport I'm mainly active just in my hometown and less in other cities. Besides that I love to hang around with friends, do some bike tours, kanu tours or go to parties. When it gets pretty cold outside I also like to play some PS3 or PC Games with friends, but if it's possible I prefer to go outside as often as I can. Nature is an amazing thing and my future plan is to see some of the world..

I'm interested in so many different kind of music, it's pretty mixed up. I listen to bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Billy Talent, the Bloodhound Gang but i also like some kind of electronical music, such as The Glitch Mob, deadmau5, good Drum'n'Bass, Reggae, of course , and plenty of other things.. I'm very interested in new music input, it's always good to get to know some new stuff.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

..was to go ahead with the plan of travelling to Russia. When I got to know my girlfriend we just skyped for about 1 1/2 month ntil we had the spontaneous idea to meet each other in Moscow and have some nice hplidays together. At the beginning it was just a little idea but we really made it happen, without really knowing each other. It was'nt the easiest thing to carry out this idea because of the visa and travel passport I had to apply, and I realized that I dont knwo a single word of Russian and apart from her there were not too many people who speak English. It was kind of risky for both of us, as we didn't know who we are really going to see at the airport, but it was one of the best decisions in my life and I don't regret it. We shared amazing moments and it was the beginning of a really good time. Now it's our goal to travel around to new interesting places side by side.

I don't know if I could share that much with my hosts but I would say I'm a talkative person who likes to get in contact with people. I bet there are some funny stories that can be shared, and if you're interested in German or Russian culture I can tell you a lot about that. :)
