ABOUT ME

I am a funny and idealistic person that is never serious but always motivated to organize events, trip and meeting with friends.
During my trips, I like to discover how the people live and ask them a lot of questions about the country.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't wait to do what you want to do ! = El futuro es hoy, manana ya es tarde.

" si no eres parte de la solucion, ya eres parte del problema " --> better to act to solve a problem than just deploring the problem.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I propose a couch in my flat, and like to surf couches during my trips :-)
I am following the posts in the local groups where I live, join some small local event, and propose stuffs some times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before my trip in Latin America, I had small experience but very cool : one surf in Canaria Island, in Berlin, hosting in Toulouse, ...
But at the beginning of 2012, in Venezuela and even more in Colombia, I had been passing from one couch to the other ones, and that make my trip so much better :-))))
In Norway, I started hosting an american tourist 2 nights, and then, we went 4 days in a road trip !
I even hosted a world class traveller when I was living in Ethiopia in 2013 :-D

Interests

Travelling, and organizing youth events in my European Organization AEGEE. Well, at least it was my life in my past 8 years ...
I also like practicing outside sports in general, and enjoying life by making it simpler to live.
Actually, my main hobby is discovering the world around me, at local level when I am settle somewhere, or the world when I decide to break up everything and travel on a budget.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books : I should read a book some times ^^

Music : I am listening a bit everything, like to go to live bands of "rock" in general, and going to electronic music festival is funny !

Movies : 2 or 3 seen recently and that left its marks on me :
- INTO THE WILD : the dream of most of us ... more or less, but a good travelling experience inspiration.
- AMISTAD : a movie from 1997. The movie itself is not so perfect (long, slow, too simplistic some times), but it reminds me what happened 4 centuries ago "the slave trade between Africa - Europa - America", and how we know few about it (lack of education in the school!!)
- BETTER LIFE (2011 - directed by Chris Weitz) : a movie seen in my plane back from Latin America, about the Latin immigration in the south of USA and the life of this people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surviving a car accident in Venezuela :-) Even the car die ^^

Travelling 4 weeks in Venezuela with no stamp in my passport and making jokes at the military control every times ... and passing well !!!
