ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old physics student living in New York, NY, and Spokane, WA. I spend most of my time doing physics, trying to figure out where to go to grad school, doing construction work, being the president for the Columbia University Science Fiction Society, and exploring New York. I've been dating my boyfriend, Nels, who is planning on studying history and education, for six years.

PHILOSOPHY

Right now I'm just trying to learn as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two summers ago my boyfriend and I used couchsurfing extensively to travel around Europe. I have been unable to host while in college as I am living in student housing, but would be open to hosting in the future when my living situation changes.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book of all time is Anna Karenina. Other favorite authors include EM Forster, Kurt Vonnegut, Jonathan Safran Foer, Haruki Murakami, Kazuo Ishiguro, and right now I'm fairly addicted to A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin.

Some of my favorite movies include Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Milk, Gosford Park, and Wayne's World.

I like most music, but my favorite musician is Andrew Bird.
