I am a curious, exploring person, currently on my way to finishing my studies in International Relations. I work in a Belgian beer bar in Antwerp and am passionate about both my studies and the job that finances it. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new languages and travelling.

I enjoy meeting new people and usually use Couchsurfing to stay up to date when it comes to events in cities that I travel to and to meet up with people while I am there.

兴趣

I work in a Belgian beer bar and am very passionate about the ins and outs of beer. My favorite beers are old browns and red beers. These are beers that usually contain Lambic, which is the basis for many sour beers and is brewed through a process called spontaneous fermentation. This process is unique and can only occur in Belgium.
I am currently still learning about beer, and am starting to learn about wine and whiskey/y as well. I have a dual passion. One is for the hospitality business, and I do consider myself an excellent bartender and am always happy to talk to people about it, and to learn from them in return.
The second passion I have is international relations, more particularly political economy. This is a discipline that tries to analyse and explain economic and monetary policy through the interplay between political systems, the electoral process and economic analysis.

音乐、电影和书籍

The book that touched me the most that I read lately was "Sorrows of Young Werther" by Goethe. I enjoy the classics very much, it would be a long list of authors and books that have touched me one way or another.

Currently I am reading "On the Road" by Kerouac.

I enjoy series more than movies, and am not much of a movie buff. That being said, I still enjoy watching the occasional movie.

Music is something that varies with me, depending on the time and place, my mood, and when I discover a new song I will be listening to it for days and weeks until I drive myself crazy.

I started gardening and discovered what was eating up all of our boxes in the garden. I felt that was pretty amazing :D
