I am a 4th year majoring in Computer Science and Statistics at University of Virginia. I came from South Korea in 2004. I lived in New York City for a year, Tokyo for a year, Korea for 10 years, South Carolina for 2.5 years, and Virginia for 9 years. Moving a lot made me enjoy new experiences I get from different places. Therefore, I love travelling and I LOVE new experiences!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because meeting new people is always exciting! My friend went on a long trip to Southwest Asia, Japan, and Europe using couchsurfing. She told me she had the best experience that she couldn't have had if it weren't for couchsurfing. I want the same kind of experience she had and I love getting the local experience instead of the "touristy" places.

For music, I usually like R&B but I don't mind other genre.
For movies, I usually go for romantic comedies(because I am still a teenage girl inside haha) but I watch action movies as well.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Horseback riding! Although I broke my right arm and had to get surgery, it was fun! The horse threw me up in the air and I was unconscious for a while. I think the experience was worth it. I recommend everyone to try out at least once in their life time.

I can share my Korean culture! I can teach you Korean or how to cook Korean food. I also learned piano for 6 years and violin for 5 years.
