Overview
About Me
I harbour a deep curiousity for the human species and love to hear peoples stories, I think we have so much to learn from each other and cultural exchange is an amazing opportunity to broaden our understanding. Before travelling I was working in health and social care supporting adults with learning disabilities, and am passionate about learning more about how to support the wellbeing of others as a route to social justice. I'm artistic, enjoy meditating, dancing, reading, writing, photography and drawing. I like to have deep conversations and am also very happy in my own company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to experience the way that people live rather than just visiting as a tourist. I often prefer riding on public buses to visiting tourist attractions. The things that really stay with me are the connections I make and the stories shared and so I would like to meet local people and hear your insights on your hometown.
