Before University I decided to take a gap year and enjoy the beauty of the world!

I spend 5 months in Southeast Asia. It's been a blast! I learned so much, met many incredible people, seen beautiful places. During this trip I discover that I prefer way better to go out of tracks when I travel. Lonely Planet is a good reference, but let's get loss! That way I can truly experience the local culture and live incredible experiences and adventures.

Next trip is in Hawaii, can't wait to discover this amazing place! I'm looking forward to experience the culture and meet some incredible persons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best souvenirs or experiences that I have from my past travels it's always with locals! For me, it's an incredible chance to meet and share with people from the place you're visiting. They can tell you so much about it, they can show you around and most important, they teach you about the local culture.

Couchsurfing seems like an amazing way to do so!

Interests

Traveling, for sure! I'm also a sportive one so we can add to the list cycling, skiing, kayaking, Scuba diving (just discovered this in Thailand, craving for dives since!!), hiking, actually this list is endless... Always willing to discover some new amazing stuff!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to say that you can propose me every kind of music, books or movies (besides horror, hate those ones! Yes it scares me...) and I'll give it a try for sure, but I don't have that much of knowledge to share in those fields. I can always talk about Harry Potter for hours and hours and the Alchemist (my two favourites of all times) but it's pretty much it.

Although, always ready to learn more about something even maybe a horror movie, but not too scary please...

And if you're a musician be prepared, I'll ask a private concert for sure!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I was in Vietnam I did a motor bike trip on my own who lasted a couple weeks. Was certainly the most amazing and craziest thing I did!!

Oh! can I add one more? It's impossible to just have one anyway so...

I did volunteering in Cambodia for two weeks. It's was incredible! I was teaching English to kids in a small village. It was a wonderful experience, these kids was just so amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a French Canadian, so if you're willing to learn a bit from this complex but amazing language, I'm here to help you!

As I have traveled quite a bit I can share my experience and my good and less good stories.

I can also cook meals from back home, like our traditional poutine or anything else that you would like. Always willing to learn a new recipe too. Plus, I'll take care of the dishes after promise!
