ABOUT ME

French at heart, pro-European and a citizen of the world!

I am very interested in the environment, in public affairs and development issues. I am trying to find my place in this crazy but amazing world.

My dream when I was little: to speak every language in the world. I'm doing my best to achieve this goal: French, German, English, Spanish, Czech for now, more or less well :)

To learn languages and experience this world, I studied in France, Czech Republic and Canada and travelled to Europe, India, Guatemala and Tunisia. Sometimes counsurfing - thanks! -, sometimes not.

I am now living in France to work for a Fair Trade NGO. My town, Montreuil, is a very exciting city: multicultural, friendly, green and activist.

PHILOSOPHY

If you have a problem, don't worry. If you can do something about it, then act and stop worrying. If there's nothing you can do about it, then accept it and stop worrying.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

After traveling alone for a while, I look forward to meeting people I can chat and spend some time with, to recharge social batteries before returning to my solo traveling :-)

Movies: Mostly intellectual and beautiful movies, not so much action movies, thrillers or blockbusters. A good movie should make you feel and think as well. In the mood for love - V for Vendetta - The Motorcycle Diaries...

Books: L'insoutenable légèreté de l'être (Milan Kundera) - Littoral et Incendies (Wajdi Mouawad)...

Music: Lots of things - mostly trip hop, folk rock, indie, world and electro music. Björk, Massive Attack, Mumford & Sons, Lhasa, Alela Diane, Alt-J, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Röyksopp and many more...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking for 46 days in a row, 900km in total. A small yet proud achievement for myself.

When you travel by plane, always keep with you in the cabin the stuff you really need (passport, camera, medicine and contraception, contact lenses etc.) and a few things to survive for a few days (underwear, t-shirt, toothbrush, towel) in case your luggage gets lost.
