My name is Florent, I'm a 31 years old french guy. I'm moving to Zurich early January and I would be very interested to meet with local (and foreigners) people. I have been living abroad for many years, I speak French, English, Italian and I'm currently learning German. I'm an avid reader and I'm always happy to share great discussions about literature.

I'm very passionate about alternative ways of living, conscious eating, and meditation. Not really the party guy, I enjoy much more a great dinner time, followed by early sleep and start my day with the sunrise.

I'm working as a photographer for the past 8 years, however, as I'm new in Zurich and I know how critical it is to learn German to land a job, I'll probably start my Swiss journey by finding a job where I can interact with local people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In a general perspective, I'm on Couchsurfing as it makes me get out my comfort zone. Nowadays it is too easy to spends days in front of a screen without interacting with the people around you or simply living in the "present" moment. Meeting new people in a new situation is a constant challenge that makes me feel alive and more grateful for what I have.

On a pragmatical side, I'm new in Zurich with a limited budget, therefore, Couchsurfing is a fantastic opportunity for me.
