I am Florentin, 20 years old and from Austria. I travelled as much I can for my whole life and now that I am an adult I want to see the whole world and make friends all around the world. I think its one of the best feelings ever. To know you have a friend who is currently at any other place in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to travel and to meet new people. And I think it is a nice opportunity to see the city or country out of the eyes of a local. And of course every local knows their place way better than any informative Tourist would so you can see the place from the eyes of the local community.

Interests

Everything if my mind is choosing to be interested in. I like to speak about politics, the environment, waterpower or the power of water, rubics cubes, bicycle routes around the world, fun facts about the world, physics and many more....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While travelling with my mother and brother as a kid in Greece one family showed us their life and let us be with them while having their sunday family dinner.
Staying at my first host in Ravenna who became my friend. (Mael, my first International friend because of Couchsurfing)
Cycling from Bratislava to Budapest with my best friend when I was 15
Climbing some rooftops and the "Votivkirche" in beautiful Vienna City
Cycling around the "Neusiedler See" with my friends and sleeping anywhere we arrived (without permission of course ;))
Hiking 3 days on a mountain with two of my best friends without staying in houses, just with our hammocks, sleeping bags and tarps

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning to speak and read Russian to go to Usbekistan, Taschikistan and Kirgistan -> so if you can speak it or are a native speaker I would love to learn from you
