Yo!

My name is Florent, as you can guess from the bold letters on the top of this page. I'm 25 years old and I currently live in Brussels (Schaerbeek). I live with 5 persons (3 boys and 2 girls) in a wonderful sort of house (don't know what to call it), they're all great and we share good time together.

What else? I juste graduated, a couple of months ago. I'm looking for a job right now.

Also, I play drums, I love it but I don't practise enough.
I used to be a scout leader, scouting is still a very important part of my life though. It has helped me to be more self-assured, to reach out to others, to build projects together, it has taught me tolerance and I met there the most awesome friends in the world.
Since then, I took part in projects that all have in common the fact they try to fight against poverty, and try to make people from different horizons meet and spend time together. Very, very inspiring.

I like roller skating. Yeah. And crapload of other things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want my life to be full of experiences (sometimes I re-read this description... this sounds so cheesy, but yeah, this is it) and I think Couchsurfing can help me, I think you, amazing people, can help me!
I haven't travelled a lot up to now, but I'm looking forward to doing so. In the meantime, I'd like to host people from all over the world in order to meet new people, new cultures, have new experiences and make friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite genra stays metal, from the 70's to the nowadays more extreme types of it. However I'm open to (I like to think) everyting.

I don't really read a lot, I don't think I have a favorite one...

I love watching movies, this type of art, as well as music, touches me much more than reading. I also love horror movies, for the thrills and not the gore.

Skydiving ! And I got a tooth pulled out recently, how fun.
