I worked as a lawyer till the end of 2016. Now I have retired to find out and feel a lot of different things of life.
I like to be active in the beautiful landscape of Chiemgau, a wonderful place to live and visit. We like music, theatre, cinema, reading books, biking and other outdoor-activities, playing parlour games, travelling. Our children are grown up and living on their own.
I used to play tennis for 45 years, also competitive, but now my knees stopped that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people from all over the world, also when we are not traveling ourselves. So we wish to come the world to the place we live.
Also it is very nice to meet local people at the places we will be traveling in the future, to learn about their country and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock music and movies of Jim Jarmush as well as all movies that have a strange idea as their base.

I love to read books of writers that handle the german language in great perfection as Stefan Zweig, Heinrich Böll. But I also like to read fantasy, science Fiction when there can be found an interesting idea in the story.
