About Me
Hey there,
We are Karina and Florian.
As we just started using couchsurfer, we‘re low on reviews. But we love the idea to host people from all over the world, as we had so many encounters during our journeys as well (Outside of couchsurfer).
We both were born and raised near the city of Hanover and have been living in Hannover city for 5 years now.
So we can give you some advice on how to spend time over here.
In Germany Hanover is often considered as a „grey mouse“ as we say 😅 But the city might just be a well kept secret.
We love to cook, play board games, meet our friends and sometimes just to hang around and do nothing.
I‘ve seen some hosts that have strict expectations on how you should be as a guest.
So I want to make something clear:
You don‘t have to spend time with us, even though we would like that 🤭
If you‘re staying in Hanover for the Messe and the hotels are too expensive, you can still stay with us. In that case I am sure that you can at least bring a little something from your country for my niece (4y.o.) 😉
If you are interested in spending some time together we are open to grab a drink together, show you around some of the city, play some games or cook something together ✌🏼Just a little heads up: We both cook and eat vegan. You definitely don’t have the be vegan as well to stay with us.
At our apartment you will have our guestroom with a double bed for yourself. The livingroom, kitchen and bathroom will be shared with us.
So please be our guest and send us a message.
We will try to answer every request. As Karina and I have different work schedules there will be times where we simply can’t manage to host and at other times we’ll both be available to hang around for a couple of days.
Two last thing:
Firstly: We will not host minors.
Secondly: It is expensive to get verified on this site and we decided not to pay for that verification. We totally understand if you’re not verified as well.
Nevertheless if you want to stay in our home, we need some kind of identification. For that purpose we will take a picture of your ID when you arrive.
We hope you understand. If you have any questions or concerns about it, please let us know beforehand.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We both love to travel and to meet people from all over the world. If we could, we would travel all the time. We see CS as a opportunity to invite the world into our home and hopefully meet some new friends 😌
