from what I've seen from friends, couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people and learn about new cultures and places. So, it's about time to join!
I have lived in several countries in Europe and have travelled to North America and South East Asia, which have been great experiences and I'm looking out for more :)

While travelling, even the most spectacular scenery can't really beat the lovely encounters with people. Sharing experiences, views and the sometimes overwhelming hospitality are things that will stay with you forever.

In a world where money and material things seem to rule, it is important to share, to give and to accept. So time to surf :)

Music:
Everything between techno and metal ;) as long as it is powerful, but also melodic.

Movies:
Generally comedies, but also quirky stuff like Tarantino. And I have to admit I have a weakness for trashy disaster movies such as Sharknado ;)

Books:
Need to read more! I like Italian crime stories (Andrea Camillieri), but also non-fiction about environmental issues, psychology and food
