21-year old student from the netherlands. Finished my bachelor of science earlier this year and thought this was the perfect time for me to go and explore the world. For the last three months I have been doing an internship in the city of Andong (South Korea) and been spending most of my weekends discovering Korea. Since I like travelling a lot I recently changed my plans from going back to the Netherlands in November, to staying around asia/australia for another 7-8 months.

For november I want to travel through Japan because I've heard so many great stories about the country and its people. After that I will be heading south but I haven't really decided exactly where to go (thinking about new zealand perhaps, suggestions?).

I'm an outgoing type of person and would consider myself to be quite social. I love going out for a drink, meeting new people, just wandering through cities I've never been before and trying new food. If there's anything else you'd like to know please feel free to contact me at any time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the last three months I've worked as an intern for a company in Korea. During my time here I heard so many good stories about couchsurfing from other travellers.

I would love to enjoy a city in a more personal way compared to (or in addition to) hostels. I will be more than happy to host my own room when I get back to the Netherlands (next may, I live in the lovely city of Rotterdam, Netherlands)
