About Me
Hey! I’m Florian, 24, from just outside Paris.
I put my job on pause — I used to manage a sushi restaurant in Paris — to go chase a dream: cycling all the way from Paris to Tokyo.
It’s more than just a physical challenge: I’m doing it to raise funds for Action Against Hunger, and to explore the world one encounter at a time.
I love to cook (hard to unlearn the sushi life), and even more to share stories and discover cultures through conversation and good food.
Into running, hiking, and — of course — cycling.
Always up for a deep talk, a fun night out, or simply learning about life from someone new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe the best part of traveling isn’t just the places — it’s the people. I’m using Couchsurfing during my trip to meet locals, share stories, and learn what life is really like in the countries I cross. They say it’s the people that make the journey, and I couldn’t agree more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hi! I’m cycling from Paris to Tokyo.
This long journey will take me through more than a dozen countries and thousands of kilometers — but my goal isn’t just about distance.
I want to discover each place through the people who live there: sharing stories, meals, and moments with locals along the way.
If we meet, I’d love to hear your experiences — and maybe tell you a few of mine from the road!
