Hi, I am Florian but everyone calls me 'Flo' . I am taking a sabbatical year.

On the first of September I started a bike travel from Belgium. My goal is to reach Nepal in September next year but for me 'the travel is more important than the destination'. That's why my motto for this travel is 'go with the flow' and try to enjoy every moment at its fullest. My main objective during this travel is to meet people and discovering about different cultures and ways of life. Likewise, I enjoy nature more than anything. I find my resources there to recharge my batteries.

This travel is for me a way to realize with my own eyes that there still are a great number of good humans in this world, even if the news and some politicians would want us to think otherwise. It can be seen as a life changing experience to help me confront my fears.

I travel with a tent and ask people spontaneuously alongside the road to put it in their garden. It is a way for me to get to know a lot of new persons without being intrusive.
I think that describes me the best. So I am not introvert but not extremely extravert either, somewhere in between.

I have had amazing returns from my hosts. Some still send me messages to know how I am doing and how my travel is going. According to them I am dedicated, sociable, talkative, interesting, (I have a lot of stories and experiences that I like to share) respectful and easy going.

When needed I can also be very responsible and serious. Furthermore I can say that I am solution oriented; on these kind of trips you do not have a choice, actually. But I must admit that I like to think about solutions when I'm in trouble and to let my creative spirit take over. Lastly I would describe me as a sensible and open minded guy ready to talk about nearly anything.

I speak fluently French, Dutch, English and I understand and speak a bit of German and Spanish.
