About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Not a missionary...

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty open minded, active, humorous (though I normally fail at the latter...)
I love travelling but especially getting to know interesting people.
In the last years I've been living in many different countries but soon I will be studying in Paris for a year before I move to Berlin for another Master's.
All the rest I'd be happy to share with you over any (preferably outlandish local) drink.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't judge things you don't know

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I have never participated so far. Thus I'm very much looking forward to expanding this box in the future :)

Interests

Love debating/Political simulations - Participated in a lot of international tournaments all over the world
I also really enjoy sports, especially volleball and dancing
Travelling of course, always a great experience visiting a new country but what attracts me most is getting to know the locals and making new international friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite Authors: Umberto Eco, Noah Gordon, Oscar Wilde, E. A. Poe

Music: Everything danceable (usually rather crappy chart music), Dancehall, Reggaeton

Movies: 50s/60s films, Billy Wilder, Roman Polanski

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to the Amazon twice - For me visiting the rainforest is an incomparable experience. The intensity of sounds, smells and feelings, the wild animals and the overwhelming plants are just amazing. Also the uncontrollability of the "wilderness" contrasts impressively with our regulated western lives.

Teach, Learn, Share

Wish I could put something slightly less nerdy here but I guess that could be anything regarding politics... (over a beer if that makes it less weird?!) Not sure if this qualifies me as a couchsurfer though.

I do also really like cooking and am happy to share my (limited) knowledge

I always enjoy practising different languages as well
