HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing brings people together.
I like getting to know other peoples and their way of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first Couchsurfing experience in Canada.
Me and my girlfriend had to wait for our host at the railway-station. We stood there for a while and got a bit nervous, because we didn't know where to sleep elsewhere.
After a little while a women standing next to us asked us, if we want to come and stay at her house. We were very thankful and said "yes".
A few minutes after arriving at our new hosts house our regular host called us. She wanted to know if we where fine and secure, cause she couldn't find us at the railway station. After having explained what happened, she was glad to hear, that we had found a place to stay.
She was very nice and caring as were our spontaneous-alternate couchsurfing-hosts.
I think this shows some of the spirit of couchsurfing.

I try to read some "classics" by great authors of our time and the past.
