ABOUT ME

I am very sociable and open minded, I like to laugh and have a good sense of humour :) I like to hang out with people and just have some silly fun but can also enjoy deep philosophical discussions :P I try not to judge too quickly and try to understand why people think the way they think. Humanity has a bad reputation but communities like these make me believe that there is hope still ;)

I just finished my studies in Biotechnology and now I want to apply my knowledge to find new technologies to develop a more sustainable economy for our nice little planet

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When i'm travelling I want to broaden my horizon, and how to do this better then by getting to know interesting people?

I only have a small room and I dont have a free couch at the moment. As soon as I have a suitable place, I will also be happy to host someone.

兴趣

I spend a lot of time on music, listening aswell as making it with my guitar. A few years ago I got into DJing and also a little bit into electronic music production (you can check out https://soundcloud.com/florian-brennecke if you're interested ;) ) Otherwise I like to do sports like climbing (bouldering), running and a bit freeletics, amongst others. Additionally of course the usual stuff: good movies, TV-series, Books... I love british humour and watch it a lot :)
My favorite season is summertime when can yust outside in a park or near a lake with some friends and have a fe good beers.

Music: I fancy many different genres, from rock to folk, metal to blues and anything in between. I also like good singer-songwriter stuff, especially good singers. I love London Grammar, Florence and the Machine, Matt Corby, Ben Howard, for instance. Since I started playing the electric guitar I also admire the oldschool rock from the 70ies like Deep Purple, Rory gallagher and Led Zeppelin. Concerning blues my heros are Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa and John Mayer! Moreover I'm heavily into electronic music like Deep and Tech-House and some drum and bass. I also love symphonic stuff like movie soundtracks from Hans Zimmer.

Movies: I love the LOTR trilogy, Forrest Gump, any Tarantino film...way to many to list them all.

Books: for fiction I like some good thriller or history drama (Ken Follet, Robert Ludlum) for non-fiction i really enjoyed A Short History of Almost Everything by Bill Bryson

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was on a trip through Canada with crazy parties in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and two days of hiking in the middle of nowhere in the wilderness of Ontario, which was really a great experience. I loved the nature and solitude of the lakes near Algonquin park :)
