My biggest need/want is to understand things, people, situations, to really see beyond the curtain veil, to apply critical thinking and the knowledge & experience I acquired in this life to get a better glimpse of reality. I'm really open-minded and even though sometimes I sound political incorrect I'm not at all judgmental. I like to listen and observe, to laugh and make laugh, to interact and to connect. Sometimes I'm a bit too serious, sometimes a little bit shy, most of the times outspoken and I believe that most of the truth sounds extraordinary and plainly unbelievable. If this planet and all of us would be a single being I would be a sleepy neuron dreaming to connect and understand everybody and everything.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well, I'm at present in a context of my life where I put great meaning in meeting new people, new cultures, to friendly and respectfully interact and humbly learn from everybody. I think it's an far more enriching experience than getting lost in your loneliness in a big city X stars hotel room (which I've also done). I also hope that I can bring some perspective, a well defined point of view and whatever else is required of me (some good cocktails maybe? and a stimulating conversation or anything else that will do no harm to anybody). Of course I would be honored to return the favor while they (the hosts) will travel to Barcelona.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I travel around the world but one night on a beach while visiting Barcelona I was having a nice conversation with some people I recently met and we were wondering about a lot of things, about life, death, the divine, the illusory but at some point we said "how great would be to live in the buildings that were just beside the beach".
The years later I was living in Barcelona, with the beautiful girl that was by my side that night on the beach, in a tiny flat, with sea view from all rooms and I saw many amazing sunrises and we lived many happy moments and one of the most amazing was when I first held in my arms my son, Marc, who is know 3 years old and never ceases to surprise me with how he laughs, how he makes friends, how he is happy all the time, for apparent reason. I know it sounds trivial and actually it's not all gold, because for example now I'm separated from the beautiful mother of Marc, but still, you asked I answered. Thinking about my happy kid always brings out a tear of joy! :-)
