I never know what I'm supposed to write about in these sections...
I am a writer, who currently is trying turn writing into a full-time job. Mostly I write short comedies, but that is not what I want to continue doing down the line. Hopefully, in a few years, I will be writing slightly longer than average short comedies, but which still are, technically, short comedies.
I know, maybe I'm aiming to high... but we can all dream, can't we?
That last part was an actual question, I honestly don't know if we can all dream...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's quite the interesting story:

Since I was 14, I always wanted to be able to travel all over the world and meet interesting people, so when I finally moved out of my parents house and had my own apartment, I wanted to make that dream a reality.
At first, I went online and searched for "ways to meet interesting people". Evidently, that led me to quite a few... thousand... websites about, shall we say, people who wanted to meet me for "other" reasons.
The second time, I decided to make it as clear as possible about what I wanted, so I went on a announcement blog and typed in "I want to travel and meet foreign people to have fun with! Please contact me if you also want the same thing!" Naturally, that time I also got quite a few responses, most of which were quite disturbing, but, none the less, flattering.
After that, I pretty much gave up... decided that there was no way to accomplish what I wanted... until, of course, my sister told me about this website, so here I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't say I have favorites, but I love films made by: Quentin Tarantino, Joel & Ethan Coen, Wes Anderson, Terrence Malick, Hayao Miyazaki, David Fincher, Lars von Trier and many others.
I read books depending on whether or not I find the plot/theme/subject interesting, so it can be anything. For example, I am up to date with the "A Song of Fire and Ice" series, by George R. R. Martin, however I have also loved reading "The Insanity Defense" by Woody Allen.
Music really depends on the artist. I like Jazz, Blues, Rock, Heavy Metal, Folk etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have very high standards for what qualifies as "amazing", so I can't say I've done anything like that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of things, life experience, tales of old, songs, jokes and... oh... you mean actual things? In that case, food, drinks, stuff like that, but I tell you, there is no problem in this world that can't be solved with a good joke and the right attitude. Well, okay... I guess collapsing economies, world hunger, socio-political disputes etc., need more than a joke, but you get the general idea.
