To enjoy life and the people that come with it!

I have been exploring Colombia and will be in Mexico very soon. I would love to meet locals and learn about culture, food and anything else :) Hopefully see you soon!

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as sociable, fun and adventurous, I'm always up for going out and have drinks with friends and if the vibe is right, hours of dancing! I love travelling to new places and meeting people from all around the world, understanding cultural differences and learning languages (although my commitment leaves much to be desired....)

I have been lucky enough to have visited many parts of the world where I have met many amazing people and experienced different cultures. My best ever year was when I did Erasmus in Italy - studying in Siena, working in Milan and travelling the beautiful south I fell in love with the Italian way of life (the food especially!). I have also recently spent an incredible 18 months in Barcelona, where I completed an MBA and had a unforgettable international experience, making long lasting friendships with people from all over the world.

I love meeting enthusiastic friendly people and having hours of conversation about life, day drinking with good friends on a summers day, football, playing sports and amazing sunsets.

PHILOSOPHY

At the age of 33 I am really enjoying my life and making the most of it. I believe in being friendly, open-minded and curious and treating others as I would want to be treated. When it comes to religion I'm agnostic but am always interested to hear about different religions (at school I was restricted to only learning about Catholicism).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed on the US west coast and met some amazing people with who I had a great time! Also in Bologna where I met a really cool person I'm still in touch with.

I haven't couchsurfed in a while but very keen to get back into it!

Interests

I absolutely love sports, languages and going out with friends. I play football, hockey, tennis, squash and golf on a regular basis, but am most passionate about football (soccer), perhaps too passionate...
I have attempted to master the Italian language (and Spanish in the past) but feel I am only half way there, and would love to get to know the basics of many other languages!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching good comedies but my favourite are dramatic films that overwhelm you as the end credits appear. Intouchable, the Cove, Blood Diamond and Seven Pounds to name a few. Don't read as much as I probably should and like a wide range of music, from liquid drum & bass to classical tunes of pianist Ludovico Einaudi. Favourite artist is Bon Iver, if you haven't heard them, listen now!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am lucky enough to have experienced many great things in my life but the top of my list has to be going camping in the North of Thailand in the middle of the bush where I went hunting with a couple of locals underneath the moonlight!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Living back in London, I would love to show couchsurfers around the city and take them out with my friends!
