ABOUT ME

Hei!
My name is Florian and I'm 26 years old. Some month back I finished my studies in "Optronics" and before rushing into hard working life it's time for another break ;) New Nealand - We are coming!
Originally I come from a region in the south of Germany which is called the Black Forest. It is very nice and quiet there ... so when I'm at home for vacation you can visite me there.
My friends would describe me as a open-minded, creative and a pleasent guy.
Maybe we'll meet someday for some days and you'll find out more ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed three nights in Amsterdam with wonderful people. Just a great first Couchsurfing experience!
Surfed 2 Month in Norway, meet alot of nice and helpful people. It was just amazing. Also "hosted" some others in my tent while traveling and hiking through the country :D Quite cuddly inside a tent, but no a big deal for good friends.

Interests

As I mentioned, I love to be creative. It doesn't matter if it's making music (guitar playing), painting or to take photographs. Photography is one of my biggest passions.
Some years ago I became more into hiking and trekking. Walking through a beautiful countryside while taking some nice pictures is just a great combination.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock, Blues, Jazz ... old sounds like Hendrix and stuff, Metal, Chillout, Minimal-Elektro ... Deephouse and all thoses tunes ... up to acoustic or experimental music like Fink, Andy McKee, Porcipine Tree... just a wild mixture.
All kind of movies ... The Fountain is one of my favourites!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I did my first trip to the USA/San Francisco on my own which was very exciting. I combined it with a photography trip. We came there for a international optical conference from all over the world and it was amazing to meet all these interesting people there.

But one of the best things I've ever done was a two month trip trough Norway. It is such a beautiful country with alot of wonderful people!
