ABOUT ME

I came to the UK in 2006, intending to spend two years based in London and travelling before heading home. Instead, I fell in love with an Englishman and am now married and living in the Cotswolds.

PHILOSOPHY

Due to a fear of regretting anything, I try to make decisions based on how my aged self will feel looking back on my life. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Who knows what an old cranky woman will think anyway??

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2006-2007 I did a fair bit of hosting and couchsurfing, but fell out of it when I moved to London as life got a bit too hectic. I got back into it for a while when we moved to the Cotswolds but the arrival of our daughter filled our spare room and made mornings a little less relaxed.

Movies - escapist fluff or action. Music - Ella Fitz (queen of blues), swing, jazz, brit/aus rock, cheeze (when the need to boogie hits me), even a bit of country (the Audreys, even Dolly). Books - anything and everything.
