my passion comes from challenge and being a part of a movement for a better world. i like to live, learn, laugh, play and at the same time take serious my responsibility in this world as a privileged 'first world' person. i am a nerd in the sense that i see that privilege as a responsibilty and base my life on that premise.
i am but one small soul, but i fight like a hundred.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am new to this idea and currently participate as a traveller accepting gracious offers of a couch on which to crash. what i have to offer is good company, interesting conversation, great meals, and cleaning after myself.
i have learned to be a great guest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have spent years accepting and offering space as and for travellers. i understand the way to be a good guest-how to be engaged but not needy. as a traveller of so many years i am quite capable of feeling at home no matter where i land. this means you won´t have to take care of me as a guest but can enjoy a friend stopping by for a visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

at the moment: anais nin, joseph massad y hannah arendt are my current reads (along with random mags, blogs and zines). i enjoy most anything written from the heart, words that reflect the passion of life. i enjoy theory and academic and political writings also as they exercise and feed my brain.
as for music, i like female vocalists, political hip hop, punk, insurrectionary and anything with a good dance beat that isn´t pop.
my all-time favorite movies are `harold and maude´ and
'hedwig and the angry inch'.
as for any and all of the above, things with good politics/empowering message i like best.
