About Me

Easy going sustainable agriculture enthusiast from Ohio.
Lover of people, plants and all places those two overlap.
Enjoyer of honest communication and healthy environments.

Hobbies include:
-West coast swing
-Sitting in the sun
-Eating sweet potatoes
-Climbing stuff
-Petting cats

Creating community and learning in the company of good people is very important to me. One of my favorite things in life is hosting dinners and sharing meals with friends new and old.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used wwoofing and couch surfing to travel to many farms and cities across america. Now I'd like to return the hospitality and unbelievable kindness I was shown with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Bluegrass, folk, alternative rock, reggae, jazz & big band. Really, I love anything with good lyrics.

Don't watch TV. Once in a while will sit down for an interesting movie or documentary but would rather be active or playing board games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spontaneously met some couchsurfers in Arizona and spent 4 days backpacking through the Grand Canyon with them. I had never backpacked before, nor had the proper equipment. However the encouragement of my new friends, and stunning beauty of the canyon, made this insane challenge one of my fondest memories.
