ABOUT ME

I'm French but I have spent almost all my adult life in foreign countries (Germany and Switzerland).

As for now, I love to meet new people and share experiences. I am very receptive for new hints and ideas because the more I learn, the more I realise I still have a lot to learn.
I am also a big fan of jazz, funk, soul and African music and don't miss an opportunity to go dancing.

One last thing I have to mention: I am not just a couch. I'm a very fine human being. So, if you send me a request which is not explicitly addressed to me, in which you don't mention why you've selected my profile, you'll surely get this answer: NO.
Yes, it will take you extra time to be a bit personal. I'm definitely worth it.

PHILOSOPHY

There is always something new to learn. Not only intellectually but also in the way of handling things, of enjoying life, of understanding the universe, of evolving ...
I am also aware that we all, as human beings, have a huge responsibility for what we do (or don't) and that on all levels (personal, social, political, ecological and spiritual). I guess, if we were eager to embrace this responsibility, we would be happier, freer and would need less laws, rules and policies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosting a few guys: it rocks!!!
And my exprerience as a guest was also very nice: it is good to be abroad and still feel like you are living at a friend's place.

Interests

If I was a cat, curiosity would have already killed me a million times. Modern art, culture, DIY, music, music and music, learning , partying, dancing, politics, social topics...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Jazz (almost everything from Be Bop on, except some 70' music like Weather Report). I go and listen to music as often as I can. And I also love to dance on funk and African music.

Movies don't belong to my major interests. However, here is a short list af movies I loved: a Cidade do Deus, Y tu Mama tambien, Brazil, Virgin Suicide, Festen, Breaking the Waves, Easy Rider, Persepolis, Chinatown, Aaltra, Old Boy ... If you have any tip to give me, please feel free!

Books: I used to read a lot of books in the past. I'm not really into that now. I guess the Internet has taken the place. Here is a small list (I try to read in the original language): Salman Rushdie, Albert Camus, J-P Sartre, Emile Zola, Jack Kerouac, Ernest Hemingway, Herman Hesse. And Middlesex, from Eugenides.
