I am a curious explorer born 26 years ago, who likes to be outside and explore new places. I love to hike in nature, but I do not get disheartened if I have a chance to explore a new city either. I've lived abroad for quite a while now, mostly in Finland, but I originally come from Hungary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanted to try it to see what it's like to meet new people this way. First time I did it was back in 2016 in Finland. I was hiking with my ex in Finland and stayed with a guy in Oulu who was a dual-citizen. Half Hungarian and half Czech. With my ex-gf being Czech it was a curious coincidence and made our stay at his place very nice and cool.

Interests

I care about nature a lot. I love exploring it and taking pictures while at it. I developed these interests through my extensive stay in Finland and now I cannot imagine my life without these hobbies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Eddie Vedder, the Foo Fighters and the Oasis are probably my most favorite bands of all time. I like to listen to old-school rock music. I also very much enjoy reading about history (Homo Sapiens and Homo Deus by Yuwal Noah Harari) and astronomy (Pale blue dot by Carl Sagan).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went for a trip to Lapland by airplane, stayed two nights in a free wilderness cottage in a national park up there and then hitch-hiked all the way back to central Finland. Unforgettable.
