About Me

I am like a chipmunk, speedy, and always hungry for nuts and cabbage.

I care about food justice, social justice, bikes, nature, dogs, and other neat things.

I'm queer and genderqueer, white, 27 years of age, sober, and am kind of short but full of passion. I run a food justice organization called Boulder Food Rescue and have been involved in my local community engaging in issues specifically around food justice, homelessness and affordable housing advocacy, queer justice and racial justice. I live in a queer radical housing co-op called the Rad-ish Collective...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in a co-op called the Rad-ish Collective and I am the new guest coordinator. We are a radical housing co-op in Boulder that seeks to not just live in community but to open our space to other community members, travelers and people who wish to engage in social activism and dance parties. We eat together, share rooms, have weekly events, including open mics, educational anti-oppression workshops, radical movie nights etc. We are a whole bunch of queer folk that give a shit. We have 12 people and 2 dogs and 1 secret cat cat. And we want you to join us!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just keep trying to build community.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a decent amount about food systems, including food waste and food insecurity and innovative things happening around the country to address the lack of access to healthy and culturally appropriate food.

I'm always trying to engage in conversations surrounding social justice. I'm open to learning anything breaking through, resisting or creating alternatives to the current systems of the patriarchal heternormative neoliberal society we live in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I try to be a helpful person, so I'd love to help cook, clean, or whatever else you need support with!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, India, Mexico, Nepal, Norway, Spain, Switzerland
