CURRENT MISSION

We moved to Haimhausen half an hour from Munich in the beginning of this year. Now we finally have space to accommodate people. The guest room downstairs still needs some work (willing to help getting it ready?) but there is big room on the first floor with a balcony available.

I would still like to improve my French. My family was in France the whole last year to discover a new culture.
Therefore, especially French native speaker are welcome to ask us for accommodation.

Nous avons habité à Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny pour une année. J'aimerais bien améliorer encore mes connaissances de Francais. Comme ça, des personnes qui parle Français fluent sont bienvenues!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2006 I went as an exchange student to the U.S.. I experienced being excepted as a part of the family by my hosts and I really learnt understanding their way of living. Without it, I wouldn't be working in my job and I would probably be leading a borrowing "office life." I know that having someone to show you around and giving you an insight in the culture is a great value. Therefore I offer myself as a tourist guide and sometimes as a host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been invited to join a Columbian friend for a birthday party of her Mexican boyfriend in Zurich. I got to know quite a lot people. I spent the night there and was grateful to get a city tour on the next day. It was wonderful and now we're still in contact.

Interests

Depending on where I'm at and who I'm with I like to go out, have a barbecue at the beach, do sports, watch a DVD or just hang out and laugh.
I love the nature and animals. I just starten horse-back riding again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a great backpacker experience in Thailand. I've been riding an elephant, I was taking a third class bus to the north on which another passenger was a rooster and I enjoyed eating the food of the street markets. Even though I ended up in the hospital for 5 days, it was worth it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are having two young kids. So sleeping in is a problem. But at least there is always something going on 😉
