ABOUT ME

I love cinema, I love stories and Pictures. So I became a student of cinematography in Berlin. Listening to stories is traveling in other people's lives. I prefer slow traveling to rushing through - staying or leaving I cannot say :-D

I took my time to finish my studies, went off to Mexico to work, went to Quebec to write my thesis and back to Berlin to defend it. Now I'm working as an lighting technician (or spook I think is some english proper word for that) in movies, television and whatever comes my way. I love about this work that´s it´s irregular. Sometimes I´m several days or even weeks off, on other occasions I work everyday including weedends.

Say... I would rather prefer short-term notice than long time in advance.

PHILOSOPHY

Home is, when you have to go there, they will take you in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only good experiences! I surfed many couches since I'm finished with school - all over the world.
I think that certain cities/places would not have been the same without my great hosts. Well, sometimes my schedule got mixed up because of staying longer than I planned. No regrets though ;-)

Lately I didn't use couchsurfing that much. For several reasons. It´s gotten less personal and more and more difficult to find a host. Limitations on the website and verifying I don´t know how many things. I´m a member for more than 10 years now and I think that verifies sufficiently.

Anyway, I used it a lot before and I´d like to give something back.

兴趣

I like photography and arts. I like the movies and sometimes even music. Also I enjoy silence a lot. I enjoy being alone or with people I get along with. I like what I do for work.

I like seeing things from different points of view (it could be yours, changing mine).

I like to talk to people in private as mostly they are more honest and open up easier. I like the feeling of feeling really good with someone or somewhere and never seeing again. Although that´s sometimes really hard and I hardly succeed. I like tea and hot chocolate. I like coming home and eating everything that I was missing. I like missing. I like the moment of seeing again. I like the snow and the cold as a beautiful memory. I like the heat and the sweat of the present now. I liked riding my motorbikes, but I have do not have one anymore...

I cannot specify my favorites. I like music according to my mood. Movies... with a reason to be and books which make me think or carry me away to some place.
