About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and love, create good vibration on this planet! :)
Grow up my daughter teaching her "what really matters" in this life.
Explore my personal "reason why" I am here.

ABOUT ME

We're a small family (Isa and little Simona) with various characteristics and interests, but the most accurately words to describe me are: open minded, uncomplicated, peaceful, spiritually awakening, easy going, trustful. I love my daughter, nature, different people and cultures, travelling, languages, being creative, calligraphy...
The biggest part of our time (when I'm not working...) I spend with: Jumping around like fools in the living room, going to the lake or river and have a refreshing bath or Ice cream, walking or cycling around our beautiful place here, cultivate friendships, handicraft works...

PHILOSOPHY

I follow no religion, just my own philosophy. In one sentence I could describe it maybe as follows:
Vivere e lasciar vivere, leben und leben lassen, live and let live. So I'm very very peaceful, always trying to manage our daily life as conscious as possible. I'm strongly convinced that there is a sense in everything which happens and that everything has its time and its place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This kind of getting connected with people all over the world confirms once again: It doesn't matter if black or white, poor or rich, from Alaska or South Africa; there are so many open minded people all around this planet who all wants just one thing: Love and be loved, accept and be accepted, live their lifes in peace and harmony.

Interests

Since a few years I am quite convinced that we don't have to buy almost anything "new" (consumerism is one of the most efficient ways to increase our ecological footprint...), because everything already exists, we just have to find it! ;) Internet offers endless possibilities for us to share whatever we want and can. So I try my best with my lifestyle to not further support our current consumer society, I try to reduce, re-use and recycle whatever I can. I actively share whatever makes sense, I boycott the plastic industry and instead I support small, local realities.
This "philosophy" is the basis for all my hobbies and interests (for example creative recycling, slow travel, nature orientaded education, non violent communication...)

MOVIES
I don't often watch TV or movies, which doesn't mean I don't appreciate a good movie from time to time. I also like documentaries about traveling, people, nature...

BOOKS
I love books. I could live in a library or a book store... ;) One of my favourite books is called "La piuma del Quetzal" and is written by a local swiss author, which is also a friend of mine. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many amazing things in this world, you just have to open your eyes and your heart and you'll discover millions of miracles all around you!

Ex: Climbing up to Stromboli vulcano by night and see him exploding... Climbing up to the top of a mountain - every time a fantastic feeling... A 10-days silence meditation called "Vipassana"...
And of corse: Giving birth to Simona!! :) The most intensive 17 hours I've ever had so far!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Talents I can share with you: Several languages and a quite good level of creativity.

What I'm actually learning:
- Raising a child, and everything which is connected to this task: be a good nurse, a patient listener, a funny nanny, a healthy cook, a master in financial management, an amazing storyteller, a safe car driver, a trustful counselor, a good house keeper... well, with such a young human being around you never stop learning!
- All about Anthroposophy
- How to hear, understand, trust and follow my "inner voice"

My bike and car (if available) and of course the kitchen. Whatever else you need: Just ask!
