About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making the world a better place, one smile, hug, high five, and/or meal at a time
ABOUT ME
I joined because a friend recommended it for a housing jam I was in while substitute teaching in Salem, MA... And it's been a fun ride, meeting great people along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I open my doors, my life, and my help to just about anyone all the time anyway.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined CS.org Jan '10, but did some surfing on my own fall of 2008 when I took a cross country road trip and stayed with friends from high school, college, or old work friends, as well as a few I met online from other sites. I managed to only stay in a hotel once during the 6 week, +10,000 mile trip, it was pretty awesome seeing how big, and yet how small our country is.
Interests
Pick-up sports, trivia nights, board games, cooking! (let me cook for you in return for your generosity, or better yet- let's cook together and learn some new recipes!), movies, karaoke, volunteering and charity work.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty open to all things in all media, but I am a bit of a nerd, so I lean sci-fi. My favorite series is The Expanse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with the wild, native marine life throughout the world- dolphins and sea turtles in Hawaii, manatees in Florida, and sea lions off the coast of La Paz, Mexico.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got quite the collection of corny jokes, I can talk Star Wars all day, and also know a few card games (and magic tricks) that I'd be happy to share.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Germany, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Mexico, New Zealand, Romania, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
South Korea, United States
