About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to expose myself to new cultures all over the world and making lifetime long friends in the process.

ABOUT ME

I feel so cliche writing this, but I am a very outgoing individual and driven. I have a naturally ability to connect with people very easily. I am very much go with the flow kind of guy and don't really plan my trips. One other thing is that I am gay and hopefully that isn't an issue for anyone. Some of my hobbies are dancing, swimming, playing the saxophone, going to the movies, and tring new foods. I love food btw;) These are the basics about me, but if you want to know more, all you have to do is ask. I tend to be a open book, but don't blab about my personal life within a first meeting. Things should happen naturally as breathing.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosphy is having respect for others and myself. I do believe in setting boundaries because I don't want to step on anyone's feet. I'm not going to lie, but life is pretty amazing. My job is wicked cool, fantastic friends, awesome home, and get to travel for a living. Each day is a blessing and we all should be grateful for each day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've CS in Tel Aviv and hosted in Dec of 2010. Recently, I've hosted some people from Germany and Canada. Obviously I travel a lot for work, but I am always willing to host if you happen to catch me at the right time. My profile usually says "Yes" I have a couch available, but sometimes I might be flying myself. No harm is asking and trying. Here is a great website for my fellow CS for things to do in San Francisco. sf.funcheap.com I feel like I need to add this because its happen a few times. If for some reason you are not able to show up at my place, please send an e-mail saying that your plans have changed. I want to give others who really need a couch to crash. Just common courtesy, thanks!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experience has all been wonderful. All of my friends who are not familiar with this organization think I am crazy for hosting strangers, but I've met some incredible people from CS. CS has reminded me how great this world is and really has some great kind individuals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmmm..so many! One memory that will always be apart of me. The first time I traveled abroad. In college, I had the most amazing opportunity to participate in a work abroad program in London, England. The life I came from, I thought I would have never dreamt of doing anything like this. I was able to work and live in London for 6 months for college credit. It was one of the best times I have ever had in life. Living in London open eyes culturally, emotionally, and as a human being. I have met some incredible people and established some lifetime long friendships. From the first time I step foot off the plane in Heathrow airport, I felt like a new man. Going to London changed my life and gave me a waterfall of curousity to see the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I can pass on one thing....Really enjoy life! We all have bad days, but that bad day shouldn't influence the outcome of your life. One thing my mother taught me is that kindness toward others goes a long way. Never take life for granted because one day you can be on top and next you are on the bottom. Oh my gaga, I feel like fortune cookie now:-)
