Overview
About Me
I grew up on a farm in Virginia so I can name a lot of trees. Now I live in a big city so I've seen a lot of eccentric people do eccentric things. It makes for a good balance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live for the human experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like old books about people being scandalous: Flannery O'Connor, Thomas Hardy, Betty Smith, Dostoyevsky, Melville, Thoreau, Dickens, Hemmingway, Tolstoy.
If you want to get me to talk about movies (which isn't hard) just mention Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Saturday Night Fever, Chinatown, The Commitments, or Motorcycle Diaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Entered a cave in which spirits lived.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My love of life, decent taste in wine, and ability to make stir fries!
