Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

Did some in Israel, England and The Netherlands, never hosted!

Interests

Music & arts, nature, food, travel and extracting what I can from others. Knowledge and acceptance makes life easier to understand.
I play in a small swing jazz band (gypsy jazz) and I will always be on the lookout for these kind of venues when I'm traveling (please give my a hint if you know a place!) I just got back to photography after a 10 years ''breake'', love it!
I haven't couchsurfed in a long time, mainly cause' I haven't traveled alone for a while, looking foreword to meet you surfers again!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: For me, - good music is good music, whether is jazz or pop. Some distinctive bands/artist that always stimulate me: Django Reinhardt, Snarky Puppy, 22, John Martyn, Kaizers Orchestra, Opeth, Erlend Apneseth, Jaga Jazzist, Ella Fitzgerald,

Movies: Into the Wild, Le triplettes de Belleville, 172 hours, Amelie, The worlds fastest indian, The Big Lebowsky, Requiem for a dream, A beautiful mind, Memento, Lords of Dogtown. I really don't watch as much films/series as I used to, please enlighten me if you have something really good to recommend :)

I don't read as much as i used to ether, but I'm currently reading ''the subtle art of not giving a fuck'' and the Norwegian author Erlend Loe has given me a lot of pleasure

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My one month trip to Alaska and getting to visit the ''magic bus'' in was quite stunning for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: No idèa, ask and I'll see what I can do. I can open a bottle of beer with a lighter, and a bottle of wine with a shoe... Ask me about outdoor/hiking/wilderness stuff. I can teach you all the chords I know on the guitar and the ''la Pompe''-technique if you would like to play rhythm gypsy jazz

Learn: Another language, a good food recipie maybe?
