ABOUT ME

Me and my girlfriend Yumi are preparing for our move to Brisbane right now!

I just spent a year in Japan. I spent this time preparing for my planned PhD on urban green (for more about this, check my weblog Treepolis). My free time belongs to photography. Meanwhile I support myself working as a freelance translator and language teacher in Japanese, Englisch and German. I also publish the open research magazine Ecological Constitutions.

My next destination is Brisbane, Australia where I will pursue my urban green PhD!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I saw the wild beauty of Scotlands outer Hebrides and the shining ice on the flora on top of a summit in mid-china, the amazing rock formations of central Turkey and the world's most wonderful colours in autumn Hokkaido.
I've seen my grandfather love my grandmother through a severe illness during which she was almost unrecogniseable as the person she was before, and I've seen her getting healed by his unwavering faith.
And I've seen my sleeping girlfriend's face.
