Hello everyone!

My name is Folkert van Oorschot. I currently live in the most beautiful city of the Netherlands, Utrecht (Yes, it's better then Amsterdam). I am currently studying Applied Cognitive Psychology at the Utrecht University. I also work for a company that is developing a new therapy for different kinds of mental health problems.

And about me in short: I am a very enthusiastic, social and friendly guy who is (almost) always in for a drink, a spontaneous activity or anything else you want!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In February 2019, I'm going to write my Masters Thesis in Vancouver Island, Canada. Before and after my thesis i want to travel on Vancouver Island, and also in the weekends. Because I'm going to travel alone and I really want to meet a lot of other travelers, I just registered on CouchSurfing. I think I first want to try it as a traveler, but in the future, I will certainly open my house in Utrecht for fellow travelers!

I did a pelgrimage of 2700km to Santiago de Compostela. Unfortunately not by foot but on a scooter (50km/h), which was also very heavy and difficult
